Canoe Program Itinerary
Inle Canoe Lady (Boutique Canoe Service) is a tour in silence to discover the lives at Intha inhabitants, accompanied by women canoe rower in traditional dress. Canoe trip is to visit the Pauck Par village which is more than 200 houses and most of the houses are cottage made by bamboo. Canoe will pass near by
- Northern part of village
- Hsun Daw Gyi Phaung (Royal Barge)
- Main streets of village
- Kindergarten
- Eastern Part of village
- Southern part of village
- Primary school
- Myanmar only floating post office box
- Middle part of village
- Some small pig farming, small fish farming and some wooden cabinet making (Occasionally)
Canoe Facilities
Inle Canoe Lady (Boutique Canoe Service) has 11 canoes and all canoes are 24.5 feet long traditional and value added teak wood canoes. The facilities of canoes are:
- Comfortable seats modified from car seat
- Wood handle on canoes to assist mobility challenge
- Elegant wood carving and paint Kanote on canoes
- Sun protection umbrellas and hats provided
- Welcome board (Kyauk-Thin-Pone)
- Life jackets (also available for children)
- Mini First Aid Kid
- Silence guide (Canoe trip paper guide)
- Green tea for hospitality and traditional
- Locker
- Mini book-stand (Various kind of book to understand about the Inle lake and people.)
- Honor certificate awarded at the end of experience
- One canoe rower (The rower all from Pauck Par village and share their village the way only a local can.)
Importance Notice
*** Canoe trip will start and finish at Ngwe Zin Yaw cheroot workshop.
*** During of canoe trip in village is about 30 minutes but for whole activity for canoe trip may need round about 1 hour.
