My name is Myo Min Zaw and I am a founder of Inle Canoe Lady Co., Ltd. Being a professional English and Italian speaking tour guide for 20 years, I was passionate about responsible tourism and tourism development of Myanmar. On the other hand, I am one of the founders of Tourism for All, Myanmar community to support the essential services in Myanmar tourism such as by donation rubbish bins, first-aid kits, community toilets, educational tools and recycled paper bag campaign.

On 2015, I got the scholarship in Italy to attend the advance training course for tourism development at CE.U.B. Combining of my tour guide experience and the knowledge of scholar, I win the PPIC (Product and Package Innovation competition) 2015 from BIF, UKaid with Inle Canoe Lady project proposal. But the project of Inle Canoe Lady started only in November 2017. For two years of project initiated, already 1700 canoe trips and round about 3400 tourists enjoyed the Inle Canoe Lady’ canoe service. In 2018, I win the Myanmar Responsible Tourism Award (MRTA) for the best product for Empowerment. I was participated as a panelist and workshop facilitator at NCCT (National Conference on Community and Tourism) 2019 as a one of my contribution to tourism. Also for other activity on responsible tourism, I got the Green Microphone Award from Slovenia 2019.

The lady who think about the benefit for women of Pauck Par village. When her husband founded Inle Canoe lady responsible tourism business, she give all the best suggestion for the positive development for women who working in cheroot workshop. She created the part-time job idea to get more income and even not to lose their main job. She desired that the way more extra income for the family, the more family life enjoyment for their own family. Even she is a busy history subject teacher at University of Yangon, she interested for human right in tourism and inclusive tourism. She keen on to contribute positively to the tourism history by creating the innovative tourism product which is benefit to low income women community.
